Women and Girls Activities

The regular CCH women riders have agreed a new plan which will hopefully suit everyone - those who want to ride more often as well as occasional riders.....

We will now meet at 6 Olympus Square (the CCH 'headquarters') at 8am EVERY week. We will ride out to High Beech with the CCH early risers (a mixed group of teen and adult riders) and when there are enough of us will then split off there for a separate womens' ride. If there are weeks with only one or two of us then we can stick with them.

Some of us have been doing this anyway recently. The road out is really quiet at that time and riding as part of a big group feels very safe. It is always possible to come back on the train if anyone doesn't fancy the ride home in the busier traffic.

We will still do 'special rides' and are keen to do a Cambridge one this Autumn but it is proving difficult to find a date that suits everyone. If you want to come to Cambridge please email to say which dates you could do and we will go for the most popular! Sept 25th, Oct 2nd, Oct 9th, Oct 16th

I will only send emails from now on for the 'special' rides etc - otherwise the info will be on the CCH website.

We hope that this new arrangement will work well - please do email with any feedback or other ideas etc!
